Patient ID Now

Patient ID Now is a coalition of healthcare organizations representing a wide range of healthcare stakeholders committed to advancing through legislation and regulations a nationwide strategy to address patient identification.

HIMSS is a founding member and AMIA and ANI are members of the coalition.

ANI member Janice Kelly, MS, RN-BC, AORN, was appointed to serveas the ANI representative on the coalition.  We believe that the voice of ANI and the strength of our work focused on patient care will make a valuable contribution to Patient ID Now.

ANI proudly supports the opportunity for informatics nurses as leaders in this area and futher recognizes that Ms. Kelly's experience and thought leadership qualify her to fully represent ANI's mission and vision.
